Effective 1 October 2019, Jet Worldwide will commence comparing scale weight to cubic weight at piece level, to align with industry standards.
Accordingly, billing will be based on the greater of the scale weight or the cubic weight of each piece in a multi-piece shipment.
For example, in a two piece shipment, if piece one has a higher scale weight and piece two has a higher cubic weight, the total weight of the shipment will be calculated as the scale weight of piece one plus the cubic weight of piece two.
